DEMO REVIEW (DogmaTone): Checking out KRIPA (A Bengali Metal Band)

‘KRIPA’ – means mercy or blessing in Sanskrit. The philosophy of the band Kripa is close to similar beliefs prevalent inmysticism of all traditions, and here as well the descent of Divine grace or the concept of 'Kripa' is considered an event which catapults a confused soul into a period of intense personal transformation leading to his Moksha. So Kripa is the ultimate key towards realizing the spiritual path of self-realization.

After many different people coming in and out of the band, Kripa finally settled down with four like-minded musicians from august 2009 and its been great going since then. Founder members Ronny and Saurav found drummer Srinjoy in the neighbourhood and the little dynamite Ankur on guitars came in after many failed attempts to find the perfect match. The band chemistry was vibrant and tight from the very first day of rehearsals and thus the fresh new sound of heavy and dark Bengali music was formed.

'Dholki Wale', is a Dehati Metal band from Bhopal M.P.

Dholki Wale was formed in January 2010 and have released 3 songs since then, namely 'Jonga Ki Kahani', 'Maro Sajanwa' and 'Pappu Chaiwala' in order of release.

We are in the process of reviewing the same.

DEMO REVIEW (DogmaTone): Checking out "Yudhabhumi" & "Dhwesha" by DHWESHA (A Kannada Death Metal Band)

Dhwesha's a two membered band for now, who're rooted to Death Metal with a few Doom/Atmospheric Elements with Somesha on guitars and Ajay on Vocals. Their Own Compositions are in Kannada and are currently looking for a Drummer.

They have sent us 2 of their songs - "Dhwesha" & "Yudhabhumi" and we are in the process of reviewing the same.

ASTRAVIDH are a Bombay based Hindi rock band inspired by life in general, writing and performing songs with a genuine heart to liberate its listeners!

They have sent us their track - "Jaago" and we are in the process of reviewing the same.

DEMO REVIEW (DogmaTone): Checking out PRACHIR (A Bengali Metal / Rock Band)

PRACHIR is a Bangla band from Kolkata. They use Bengali as language to express their thoughts and beliefs.

PRACHIR are the first Bengali rock band to perform on a national platform (Channel V Launchpad, 09). They are also the finalist band (among top six) in the competition.

They have sent us 3 of their tracks - "Bharat Borsho", "Hotash Prithibi" & "Shrinkhol" and we are in the process of reviewing the same.

DEMO REVIEW (DogmaTone): Checking out PRALAYH (A Hindi Rock Band)

PRALAY is a Hindi rock n roll band based in Bangalore playing originals for around one and half year.

They've played many shows/ competitions, the high points of which are
- Runners up at Mood Indigo 2009 - IIT Mumbai .. hindi rock competition ..
- Got a chance to open for Kailash Kher at Palace Grounds in November 2009
- Came 6th place at Strawberry Fields 2009 , NLS Bangalore .. open competition where we competed with bands of various genres/languages
- Second place at Saarang, Vellore 2010 .. Yaadein won the best song
