DEMO REVIEW (DogmaTone): Checking out KRIPA (A Bengali Metal Band)

‘KRIPA’ – means mercy or blessing in Sanskrit. The philosophy of the band Kripa is close to similar beliefs prevalent inmysticism of all traditions, and here as well the descent of Divine grace or the concept of 'Kripa' is considered an event which catapults a confused soul into a period of intense personal transformation leading to his Moksha. So Kripa is the ultimate key towards realizing the spiritual path of self-realization.

After many different people coming in and out of the band, Kripa finally settled down with four like-minded musicians from august 2009 and its been great going since then. Founder members Ronny and Saurav found drummer Srinjoy in the neighbourhood and the little dynamite Ankur on guitars came in after many failed attempts to find the perfect match. The band chemistry was vibrant and tight from the very first day of rehearsals and thus the fresh new sound of heavy and dark Bengali music was formed.
